Jake Hughes aka @jaketheheron is this month’s special guest. Mike caught up with Jake at the historic Toadless Leather Pit, a complex of lakes steeped in both carp fishing history and Jake’s own angling life. Tales of unknown biggies, winter bait ups and creative inspirations were just a few topics covered but what stood out more than anything was how Jake goes about his business, his way. A real creative guy who’s artwork alone is captivating but Jake has recently been ploughing his creativity into making a series of carp films also, films that rest assured break the mould in terms of what’s available and I’m sure by the end of this one you’ll start to build a picture of Jake’s busy life and how big carp fishing fits into it.
